She was predeceased by: her husband Wilburn Clayton Sweatt; her grandchildren, Clay Sweatt and Amy Langston; and her siblings, Thomas Skinner, Alford Skinner and Ivalee Hardin.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Mize, Judy Langston and J. R. Sweatt; her grandchildren, Anthony Mize, Christopher Belden, Christi Skilman, Ray Langston Jr. and Jamey Baker; and her great grandchildren, Baylee, Kaleigh, Maci, Garrett, Logan, Adalett, Lawson and Carter. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
