He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Wilson and Nellie; his wife Bonnie Smith Cornelius; and his siblings, Lonnie, Clarence, Fred Cornelius and Annie Ruth Roberts.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Faust (Randy), Donna Burt and Linda Wilson (Mike); his grandchildren, Ashley Bussey (Jared), Adam Faust (Lenley), Justin Burt (Beth), Abbey Gravitt (Brian) and Beth Anne Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Colvin, Hudson, Caroline Bussey, Harrison, Ryder, Ashlen Faust and Myles Gravitt.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Oneonta at 303 3rd Avenue East, Oneonta, AL. 35121 or Oak Hill Cemetery at P.O. Box 686 Oneonta, Alabama 35121.
