He is survived by: his children, Keith Dempsey (Whitney), Terry Washburn, Danny Washburn (Jamie), Chris Washburn (Rhonda) and Sandy Bailey; his siblings, Ray Dempsey, Jean Dempsey, Christine Dempsey and Faye Phillips; and his grandchildren, Peyton, Bailey Dempsey, Ryan, Riley, Raven Bailey, Emalee, Jacob Graves, Tyler, Alex, Katie Marie, Justin, Brody and Caleb Washburn.
