It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellis Lee Reid of Oneonta, Alabama, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ellis and Inez Sunshine Bynum Reid; his brothers, Harmon Carl Reid, Elmer Dan Reid and George Alonzo Reid; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Price, Jerry Hudson and Johnny Hudson.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hudson Reid; his children, Kevin Ellis Reid (Michele), Kristi Reid Hood (Jonathan) and Kimberly Jana Bueto (Fredrick Jr.); his grandchildren, Amber Nicole Reid, Ashley Reid Hogan (Tyler), Caleb Reid Hood (Sheridan), AnnaGrace Micaiah Shafer (Brock), Josiah Campbell Hood, Angelina Faith Hood, Adrianna Eden Hood, Korey Ava Bueto and Pierce Jett Bueto; his great grandchild Samuel Reid Hogan; his sister Ellie Anne Price; and his siblings-in-law, James Robert Husdon (Bonnie) and Laura Jane Reeves Reid. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
