She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne "Red" Nelson; and her parents, Nick Nichols and Emma Lou Nichols. She is survived by: her sons, James Grigsby and James S. Nelson; and her siblings, David Nichols, Betty Roddam and Donald Nichols. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
