He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sue Cox. He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Cox Bynum (James) and Pam Cox Hazelrig (Mike); his grandchildren, Benjamin Bynum (Amber), Tyler Bynum, Austin Hazelrig, Brett Bynum (Melissa) and Peyton Hazelrig; his great grandchildren, Lexie Bynum, Aubree Bynum and Brantley Bynum; his stepgrandchildren, Seth Gurganus, Noah Gurganus and Walker Guthrie; his sister Charner; and his brother-in-law Bobbie Williams.
