He is survived by: his son Steven Hoese of Indiana; and his siblings, Velma Cox of Oneonta, Kathy Fountain of Oneonta, Betty Reeves of Oneonta, Brenda Putman of Munford, AL., Dennis Fountain of Oneonta, Alabama. and Benny Gunter of Oneonta, Alabama.. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
