He is survived by: his wife Jean Thomas of Snead; his children, Carol Jean Thomas Lambert, Michael Joe Thomas (Loretta) of Cleveland, Gary Ray Thomas (Terri) of Mt and Jimmy Thomas (Patti) of Oneonta; and his sister Marie Webster. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
