He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nathaniel and Edna Camille Ritchie King. He is survived by: his wife Kay Hardwick King of Pell City; his siblings, Jim E. King (Redena) and Linda Gail Witt (Johnny); his brother-in-law Bill Hardwick (Judy); his nephews, Preston Shane Witt (Melanie) and James Landon King; his niece Stacy Witt Beard (Jamie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Micah, Eli, Drew, Lincoln Beard, Stephanie Witt Duke (Thomas) and Savannah Beard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Dailey's Chapel Cemetery Fund at 3919 Ebell Road, Oneonta, AL. 35121.
