It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Dean Maples of Oneonta, Alabama, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben F. Maples and Frances Louise Roberson; his wife Sandra Woolwine Ousley Maples; and his brother Bill Maples. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Lee Perry (Charles), Russell (Coleen) and Joe Ousley; his grandchildren, Phillip (Adrienne), Nicole (Matt), Joe (Kelsey), Bill, Charles (Katie), Cameron (Claude), Jared and Brooke; his sister-in-law Carol Maples; and his brother Don Maples. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
