He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Wester Jackson; and his son Steve Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Moody (Lynn) and Mark Jackson (Teresa); his brother Jerry Jackson (Marie); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Harvey and Belvajean Jackson. He is also survived by five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
