It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Trammell in Oneonta, Alabama, born in Athens, Alabama, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles; her siblings, Eddie and Dorothy; and her parents, Marshall Carroll and Eurene Carroll.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Baker (Mike), Rhonda Tinker (Bruce), Beth Melvin (Bill) and Wes Trammel (Ben); her grandchildren, Drew, Erin, Charlie (Courtney), Amelia, Brooke and Brenna; her great grandchildren, Michael, Angelina and Maddie Kate; her sister Phyllis Johnson; and her niece Mary Jo Bell.
The family suggests memorials to Union Hill in lieu of flowers.
