We bid farewell to Ardis Elliott (Oneonta, Alabama), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Ardis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Ardis has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Gregory Armstrong and Gertha Horsley Armstrong; and her sisters, Lerlene Orton and Myrna Drella. She is survived by: her husband Byron Elliott; her sister Elta Barrett of Niceville, FL; and her children, Gloria Elliott Bellew of Oneonta, AL, David Elliott (Tracie) of Birmingham, AL and Laura Elliott Fleming (John) of Homewood, AL. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pine Mountain Volunteer Fire Department would be appreciated.
