With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Angie Elizabeth Young (Oneonta, Alabama), who passed away on December 21, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Angie Elizabeth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Angie Elizabeth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Young. She is survived by: her children, Homer, Terry, Rickey Young and Cynthia Cartee. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a host of great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Cemetery (1072 New Hope Rd, Springville, AL 35146).
