She was predeceased by: her son Patrick Dale Tipton; her parents, Pat Johnson and Alba Holt Johnson; and her brother Roy Fletcher Johnson, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Verlon Tipton; her sons, Mike Tipton (Karen) of Oneonta and Brian Tipton (Teresa) of Oneonta; her grandchildren, Krissy Taylor (Matt), Kolby Tipton, Matthew Tipton (Molly), Karin Gosnell (Craig) and Chelsea Walker (Schyler); and her great grandchildren, Lily Taylor, Kaiden Tipton, Emma, Anna Taylor, K. J. Gosnell, Kazlyn Gosnell, Emery and Trace Walker.
