He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Newt Davenport and Fanny Mae Dillard; his significant other Bonnie Williams; and his siblings, Clarence, JD, Ralph Davenport, Nell, Dera and Dena. He is also survived by friend and relatives.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). The lying in state was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
