She was predeceased by: her husband J. B. Winningham; her parents, Barney Grubbs and Mildred Grubbs; her sons, Terry Lamar Winningham and Shelley Lynn Winningham; and her siblings, Barney E. Grubbs and Ruth Hydrick.

She is survived by: her children, Sherry Annette Winningham and Perry Gene Winningham; her sister Allene Henderson (Jerome); and her grandson Kevin Winningham. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, including a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
