He was predeceased by: his daughter Regina Watts; his parents, James Att and Margaret Watts; and his siblings, Hughlon Watts, Olin Watts, James Otis Watts, Ermaline Watts, Molly Gaddy and Louise Watts.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Watts; his children, Connie Chaney (William), Dennis Watts (Kelly) and Stanley Watts (Christi); his brother Gene Watts; his grandchildren, Kyle Chaney, Haley Woodall (Zac), Clay Watts, Logan Watts, Jonathan Watts (Ashley) and Hunter Watts; and his great grandchildren, Waylon Chaney, Chaney Elizabeth Woodall, Owen Woodall and Daesyn Watts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
