He is survived by: his wife Delores Mae Poplin; his children, Sheryl Jean Poplin-Jones (Lauolefiso), Richard Dean Poplin (Yolanda), Jeffrey Paul Poplin, Kevin Eugene Poplin (Cathy), David Sprayberry and Sandra Sprayberry; his grandchildren, Stephanie Poplin-Lipley, Joshua Poplin, Jessica Poplin, Celine Rodrigues, Christian N. Barfield, Kimberly Poplin, Tiffani R. Poplin, Nathaniel Jones, Natasha Jones, Nanikka Jones, Nollan Poplin Jones and Jessica Sprayberry; and his nieces and nephews, Holly Garcia, Sam Smith, Rick Smith and Shawn Gannon. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
