He is survived by: his children, John Rodney Padgett Jr., Margie Brown (Andy) and Melissa Padgett; his grandchildren, Cody Brown (Shelby), Ty Brown (Ashton Conerly), Alyssa Padgett and Natalie Padgett; his siblings, Grace Powell, William Padgett and Joe Padgett; and his great grandchildren, Wacy Brown, Corbin Brown and Everleigh Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
