With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Michael Sanders of Ohatchee, Alabama, who passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Sanders and Jane Sanders; his sister Marilyn; and his nephew Kurt Biel. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his brother David Sanders (Sonya); his children, Tim Sanders (Kim), Ty Parker, Stephanie Gossett (Jeff), Jennifer Borders (Jason), Leanne Sanders, Whitney Jackson and Leslie Snow; and his grandchildren, Allison Sanders, Brian Sanders, Luke Sanders, Anna Anderson (Cory), Chloe Borders and Clifford Parker. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, three nieces, and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Weaver, Alabama, in honor of Mike Sanders.
