She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Mosley and Flossie Mosley; and her siblings, Mary Phillips, Autherine Hicks, Charlene Mosley, Dean Mosley and Kenneth Mosley.

She is survived by: her husband Claude Mowery; her daughters, Melissa McCurry (Joe) and Teressa Hill; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bentley (Brad), Dalton McCurry (Haley) and Claudia Haynes; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Bentley and Madilynn Bentley; and her siblings, Jan Daugherty, Judy Nance, Marilyn Collins and Leonard Mosley, Jr. (Luke).
