He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Magan Pruitt; and his parents, Ross Maye and Willie Mae Maye. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Maye; his children, Donice King (Jerry), Dana Pruitt and Donny Maye (Katrecsa); his grandchildren, Cassie King, Lee King and Brandon Maye; and his sisters, Ann Clayburn, Gail Maye and Sherry Champion. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
