She is survived by: her children, Teresa Calhoun Martin (David) of Somerville, AL and James "Freddie" Calhoun (Christie) of Lincoln; and her siblings, Louie "Red" Carden, Buster Carden, Mamie Owens and Faye Wingo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
