He is survived by: his father Larry Freeman; his significant other Rita Shuey; his brother Garron Perry Freeman; his nephew Justin Freeman; his aunt Sandra Smith (Glenn Smith); his father Garron Perry Freeman; his brother Sandra Smith (Glenn); his nephew Morgan Freeman; his niece Deborah Jan Freeman; his friend Chile (Betty Coleman); and also, Aunt Theresa Hummerick, Justin Freeman, Sulena Coleman, Kantonia Coleman, Tamara Coleman and Camellia Coleman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army in memory of Jason.
