He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine and Verbon Gibbs, Sr. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Gibbs (Serina), Brian Gibbs (Cherry) and Chris Gibbs; and his grandchildren, Lauren Gibbs, Justice Gibbs, Jackson Gibbs, Savannah Gibbs and Dawson Gibbs.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Lakeside Hospice, 4010 Masters Road, Pell City, AL, 35128.
