He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Dunn and Inez Dunn; his son John Richard Dunn; and his brother David Dunn. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gray Dunn; his daughter Angela Smith (Joshua); his granddaughter Summer Hudgins; and his siblings, Barbara Caldwell (Robert), Brenda Dunn and Paul Dunn (Deborah). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
