He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Overton and Nellie Mae Peoples Overton; his son Billy Overton; and his brothers, Donnie and Joey Overton.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Blackmon; his children, Allen Blackman, Brandy Blackman and Amanda Wilkerson; and his siblings, Michael Overton (Frankie), Ricky Overton, Frances Warren (James), Charlie Amerine and Marie Quiroz (Filiberto).
