She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Armer Lee Mims and William Elbert Armstrong; her significant other Graham "Buddy" Stone; her siblings, Preston, Olene, Buster, Velma, Jack, Junior, Lois, Charles, Ray, Bobbie Jean, Rolene and Terry Wayne; and her great-niece Misty Fisher Dummitt. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in honor of Helen Mildred Stone to either of the charities that were close to her heart, Down Syndrome of Alabama or American Heart Association of Birmingham.
