She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Elrod and Ruby Beasley Elrod; and her siblings, Andy Elrod, Jr., Jimmy C. Elrod and Marilyn Gladden.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Wright; her son Carl Smith (Miranda); her grandchildren, Gavin (Morgan), Caelan and Prudence Smith; her great grandchild Perseus Smith; her stepdaughter Laura Anne Poore (Richard); and her sister Donna Thomas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
