He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smith; his children, Teresa Downing (Michael), Anita Harrison (Mike), Stacey Powell (Tommy), Lacey Grund (Jimmy) and Calvin Smith Jr. (Kim); his grandchildren, Aaron, Megan, Gabriel, Austin, Grayson, Mason, Lanie, Brooke, Alexis, Annabelle, Camden and Jaxon; and his sister Jeanette McCray (Steve). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the New Haven Baptist Church (22235 Hwy 411, Ashville, AL 35953). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
