It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Ann Adkins Jones of Oakman, Alabama, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandfather Tommy; her aunts and uncles, Thomas, Ralph, Helen and Sara; her great grandchildren, Zander and Guy Brooks; her husband James Larry Jones; her daughter Sara Elizabeth Jones; her parents, William Lee and Lorene Adkins; her sister Elaine Blackwell; her grandparents, William Thomas, Lola Adkins and Minnie Sherwood; her parents-in-law, Larry and Cora Jones; her children, Lisa Jones German (James), Kathy Jones (Pam) and Mark Jones; her grandsons, Andrew German, Alex German (Brooke), Zander German and Guy Brooks German; and her brother William Terrell Adkins (Carol). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at Woodland Trace Church of Christ, Friday, November 13, 2020, at 2 p. m., with social distancing and mask required.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in the memory of Sara Jones to Town of Oakman in care of Jennifer Wade P.O. Box 267 Oakman, AL 35579, for Senior Center in memory of Sara Jones.
