She was predeceased by: her husband Keary Patton Gurganus; her son Keary Shawn Gurganus; her parents, Amelia Jacqueline Bruner and Melvin Lee Bruner; and her siblings, Terry Lee Bruner, Gary Wayne Bruner, Jerry Micheal Bruner, Melvin Lynn Bruner and Judith Carol Bruner Ocomen.
She is survived by: her daughter Terra Watkins; her grandchildren, Joseph Watkins, Nicholas Watkins, Tristin Watkins and Ansley Watkins; and her sisters, JoAnne Christian, Susan Gurganus, Brenda Gurganus and Numerous. She is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
