It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Uptain of Oakman, Alabama, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Gaynell; and his daughter Teresa Allen. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Wade, Gary Uptain, Kevin Uptain and Tyler Uptain; and his sister Dorothy Farmer. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
