He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Amerson; his father Billy Ray Amerson; and his grandparents, Johnny, Willie Amerson, Ethard and Lestie Dickson.
He is survived by: his former wife Donna Faye Amerson; his mother Glenda Amerson; his children, Elizabeth Amerson, Cody Amerson and Dillon Amerson; his stepson Lee Chance; his siblings, Sandra Warren, Donna Hastings (John) and Skint Hill; and his granddaughter Shelby Grace Malone.
