She was predeceased by: her son Ron Franklin; her granddaughter Crystal Earnest (Greg); her parents, George Busby and Savanah Vannie Busby; and her siblings, Benjamen Busby (Shorty), Jessie Mitchell (Clyde), Aubrey Busby (Oneta) and Velma Windham (Tom).

She is survived by: her husband Glenn McLemore; her daughter Ruthie Lane Busby (Paul); her daughter-in-law Tina McClinton (Homer); her stepdaughter JoAnn Harrison; her grandchildren, Melia Traweek (Bobby), Shannon Busby (Jennifer), Wesley Busby (Mandy), Landon Franklin (Jennifer), Andrea Hill (Tim), Ryan Franklin (Tiffany), Mandy Harrison, Malena Thomas and Blake Harrison (Brittany); and her brother Edward Busby (Martha). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
