It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winston Emerson Guthrie of Notasulga, Alabama, born in East Tallassee, Alabama, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Emerson Guthrie and Leveron Ethridge Guthrie. He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Guthrie Sherman (David), Verner Noel Guthrie (Harriett) and Christa Guthrie Bina (Paul); and his nieces and nephews, Jacob Sherman, Benjamin Guthrie, Daniel Guthrie, David Guthrie, Michael Hood, Erik Hood, Jessica Stewart, Ruth Guthrie and Sarah Guthrie. He is also survived by seven great-nieces and nephews.
