He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shoemaker and Norma Shoemaker of Carthage; and his brother-in-law Mike Berg. He is survived by: his wife Dawn of Notasulga, AL; his children, Craig Shoemaker (Carla) of Notasulga, AL and Carin Richardson (Chad) of Ogallala, NE; his siblings, Arlan Shoemaker (Diana) of Belle Fourche, Adele Raad (Leonard) of Spearfish, Ardis Shoemaker of St. Ignatius, MT and Marilyn Berg of Milbank, SD; and his grandson Austen Lee. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
