He was predeceased by: his brothers, Brad and Joey Grant; his mother Glenda Smith; and his grandparents, Willie Joe and Willodean Flurry.

He is survived by: his wife Melissa "Missy" Grant; his father Fred Grant (Judy); his brother Steve Grant (Beverly); and his aunts, Carolyn Hill (Reggie) and Pam Robinson (Jeff). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
