She was predeceased by: her son Rodger Cannon; her parents, Tommy Hamner and Wilsie Jones; and her siblings, Aaron, Leon, Bob, Donald Hamner and Joan Maddox.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Smith (Scott), Barbara Winters (Joey) and Robert Cannon (Cindy Prill); her grandchildren, Dave, Justin Reece, Lauren Winters, Sara Stewart (Kyle) and Chelsea Collins; and her great grandchildren, Brody, Lilah, Ryder and Dakota.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery (7100 Watermelon Rd, Northport, AL 35473).
Instead of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Gideon's International in memory of Mom.
