He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Earnest Lomers and Dorothy Evelyn Lomers. He is survived by: his wife Sondra; his children, Ashley Lomers and Steve Lomers; his brothers, Carl "Redman" Lomers (Wendy Lomers) and Valmond "Scooter" Hammond (Tanya Hammond); and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Craft, Jackie, James "Buck" Buckalew, Darlene, Greg Wright, Brenda and Robert Harrison.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Park (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the West Alabama Food Bank, The Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter, or the charity of choice.
