He is survived by: his wife Jo Lynn Hersey; his children, Elizabeth, William, Seth and Jacob; his parents, Jerry Hersey and Patricia Hersey; his siblings, Janan Casar and Michael Hersey; and his grandchildren, Nora and Edgar.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northwood Church of Christ (4601 Northwood Estates Dr, Northport, AL 35473). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
