Geraldine Mayo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Mayo of Northport, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Smith and Bessie Smith; her husband Ronnie Mayo; and her brothers-in-law, Kenneth Phillips and Robert Hunter.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Mayo (Shon); her sisters, Gail Phillips and Betty Hunter; her grandchildren, Otis Sims, Joseph Mayo, Amya Mayo, Noah Mayo and Kinsley Mayo; her niece Mindy Sexton; and her nephew Brian Phillips.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery (1004 Main Ave, Northport, AL 35476).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of West Alabama or the Alzheimer's Association.
