She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Sanford; her sons, Eric Sanford and Scott Sanford; her parents, James Bobby Smelley and Florence Wiley Weems; and her brother-in-law Randy Skelton.
She is survived by: her siblings, Diane Skelton and Alan Smelley (Becky); her sister-in-law Sarah Perry; her grandson Coty Sanford (Cadi); and her great grandchild Colt Sanford. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the children's ministry at Carrolls Creek Baptist Church.
