She was predeceased by: her husband Jessie Marquis; her siblings, Carol Pate (Burgess), Sue Fair (Bob), Donald Guy (Donna) and Dural Guy (Mollie); her sister-in-law Anita Guy; and her parents, Alfred Trim Guy and Mary Leona Parker Guy.

She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Wade Marquis and Barry Alan Marquis (Crystal); her brothers, Revis Guy and Roy Guy (Jolene); her grandchildren, Stephanie Marquis, Santanna Jacobs (Matt), Blake and Peyton Marquis; and her great grandchild Braden.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Baptist Church (13303 Mt Olive Rd, Coker, AL 35452). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (13303 Mt Olive Rd, Coker, AL 35452).
