We bid farewell to Bettie L. Elmore of Northport, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Bettie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hoggle and Pearl Hoggle of Greensboro, Alabama; and her siblings, James Hoggle, Stanley Hoggle, Hollis "Polly" Hoggle, Oneal "Duck" Hoggle, Ruby Johnson and Annie Pearl Yelverton.
She is survived by: her husband Boyd "Jim" Elmore; her daughters, Betty Jo Barnett (Curtis Barnett) and Susan Kay Goins (David Goins); her granddaughter Tara Michelle Vail; her great grandchildren, Skyler Cole Kimbrough, Cody Richard Vail Kimbrough and Emma Kay Davis; and her brother Bobby L. Hoggle.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that monetary donations would be made to Amedysis Hospice of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
