It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Diggs of Newville, Alabama, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Askew and Mollie Mallard Askew of Monroe County, Alabama.; and her husband Paul T. Diggs. She is survived by: her niece Johnnie Leonard McVoy of Pensacola, Florida; and her nephews, James Aaron Leonard (Betty) of Vacaville, Lamar Leonard (Daisy) of Vacaville, Eddie Franklin (Loretta) of Virginia and Joe N. Fain of Newville, Alabama.
