He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Loyd Murphy and Codine Beatrice Owens Murphy; his wife Ann Beamon Murphy; his children, Traci Murphy DeShazo (Michael), Chris Murphy (Wicksburg) and Jon Murphy (Krissi); his brother Malcolm Henry Murphy (Ruth); his grandchildren, Jade Hughes, Shelton Murphy (Stephanie), Payton DeShazo, Skipper Murphy, Paige DeShazo Richburg (Riley), Noah Murphy, Gabby Murphy and Ann-Elizabeth Murphy; his great grandchildren, Mackenna Hughes, Cooper Hughes and Shaley Jo Murphy; and his brother-in-law David Beamon (Donna).
