She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Dudley Kirkland, Sr. and Betty Shelley Kirkland; her husband Charles D. Jackson, Sr.; and her brother Dudley Kirkland. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Candace Jackson Hanners (Fred) and Charles D. "Chuck" Jackson, Jr.; her sister-in-law Alma Kirkland of Dubach, LA; her grandchildren, Katie Ann Hanners, Will Hanners and Charles D. "Chip" Jackson, III; her niece Frances; and her sisters-in-law, Jessie Jackson O'Neal, Mary Jean Jackson and Jeri Cox Jackson.
