She was predeceased by: her parents, Cody Danzey and Minnie Lee Davis Danzey; and her brothers, Bruce Danzey and Charles W. Danzey. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Oran Oates; her children, Wendy Oates Gay (Walter), Jeff Oates (Renee), Mike Oates (Hermoin) and Troy Oates (Christy); her sister Jacqueline Kilpatrick of Headland; her grandchildren, Colby Gay, Megan Freeman, Jessica Sapp, Kaitlin Poirier, Sidney Paul, Melissa Oates, Heather Oates, Brandon Oates, Shelby Oates, Mallory Oates, Cody Hughes, Jessica Hughes and David Randall; and also Dothan.
